Voltvert AC remote control

Guests treat AC like it's free.
Because for them, it is.

In rentals and hotels, guests:

  • Set AC to 16–18°C
  • Leave it running all day
  • Keep it on when they leave

The system isn't inefficient. The usage is.

That costs you €300–€700 per unit, every year — completely avoidable.

One device. Three rules.
Immediate savings.

Step 01
Replace your existing remote

Insert batteries into Voltvert.
Use the pairing guide to connect to your AC brand.
Set your temperature limits. Takes around 5 minutes total.

Step 02
Voltvert limits how the AC can be used

Guests can still use the AC — but within limits you set.
Temperature is capped.
Usage is automatically controlled.

Step 03
Your electricity bill drops immediately

AC waste drops by 30–50%.
Most properties recover the cost within one season.

"Not restriction — controlled usage.
Guests don't feel it. Your bill does."

Three controls that eliminate
the majority of AC waste.

These three controls eliminate the majority of AC waste.

Biggest cost lever
Temperature band lock

Guests can adjust temperature — but only within your defined range (e.g. 22–25°C). They can't drop it to 16°C.

↑ Up to 40% reduction from temperature control alone
Daytime shutoff logic

Automatically turns off the AC at intervals during the day. Prevents "left running while guests are out."

Targets 5–8 hours of daily wasted runtime
Night shutoff

Optional shutdown at night eliminates full-night overcooling without affecting comfort during waking hours.

Prevents full-night overcooling

Questions we get asked.

Will guests notice that the AC is limited?

In most cases, no. Guests can still operate the remote and adjust temperature within the configured band. The experience feels normal — they simply can't set it to extreme temperatures. Voltvert enforces guided limitations, not obvious restrictions.

Will this affect guest reviews?

No. Guests can still use the AC normally — just within a sensible range. Most don't notice any difference. If anything, a well-cooled room at 22–24°C is more comfortable than one blasted at 16°C.

Does it work with my AC brand?

Voltvert is built on a universal infrared platform with over 6,000 AC codes, compatible with the vast majority of split AC units from major brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Gree, Haier, and hundreds more. Check the full brand code list →

What if there's a heatwave and guests need more cooling?

The temperature band is configurable. You set the limits. During exceptional conditions, you can override the settings or temporarily expand the band. Voltvert gives you control — not a rigid rule.

Is this legal / can I do this to guest accommodation?

Yes. Property owners are entitled to set operational parameters for appliances in their properties. Voltvert does not remove guest comfort — it removes irrational misuse. Guests are always informed of the AC operating range.

Can I use one Voltvert for multiple rooms?

Each Voltvert unit controls one AC unit. For multi-room or multi-property setups, volume pricing is available — contact us.

How is this different from a smart thermostat?

Smart thermostats require installation, WiFi, and ongoing management. Voltvert requires none of those. It works with existing remotes and existing infrastructure in under 2 minutes.
